There is way too much apathy and lack of compassion. Like you said, it wouldn't take much to give you a call and say, "We had some unexpected changes this morning and are running behind. Would you be willing to come in to your visit an hour later?" Or whatever time frame. Then you aren't wasting time at the hospital. But I have never had that happen in my life. It's so irritating.
