A guy in my BYU ward was really into computers, told me about bitcoin when it first started. He kept harping on me to get on and mine some.

One day a few months after bitcoin released just to look into it I downloaded some sort of software to mine bitcoin. I spent like 75 minutes filling out surveys or something like that and I got some bitcoin, I don't remember exactly how much.

When bitcoin hit like 15k in 2018 I realized what I had on my hands. I went looking for the computer that I had saved it on, which was being used by my kids as a play toy at that point in time. Sadly, my wife told me she had thrown it out 2 months prior. I swore I had backed up the computer onto a hard drive, but I could never find it.
