Yes, and he was also the primary punter on the team for a few years.
Freed up a roster spot for the team, but I do remember when Danny got hurt as the QB, they had to have their placekicker punt. Rafael Septien, and he was only really good for about 35 yards per punt where Danny was an average NFL punter in the low 40s for punt average.
