One of the cards in 2024 or if transaction posted in 2024. So you may not have Diamond in January but you will get it.

Platinum never gets upgrades. Most of my flights the last 6 years as Diamond has gotten first class upgrades. And for me

Im not SLC based, but I got first class upgrades on probably 75% of my flights last year as platinum
