I just applied for a job where I listed my salary requirement as higher than the posted salary range. I was unsure if that would be a okay or not--I never know if companies are listing the actual limits or not. Also, this specific listing was worded oddly. "The minimum full-time salary range is between" x and y.
I'll add that I have legitimate reason to ask for higher--the highest posted salary was right at my current salary, and I'd reasonably expect an increase for switching.
