Dumb take. That’s like saying Hill is a bad DC because his D was ranked 105th
…his first year taking over at BYU.
The fact that Jason Beck turned the UNM offense from a ~60th national rank to #5 his FIRST year taking over is a remarkable turnaround.
Arod has a declining trajectory ever since Grimes left but the most damaging aspect of him (to the team) being OC is his terrible track record at recruiting, not being able to get the guys (LDS especially) here, especially now that we’re P4 and have increasing resources
