This loss might sting a lot more than you think. For me I think the reality check is all about these last 4 games where BYU barely edged OSU in Provo and then won mostly convincingly @ UCF other than allowing 2 TDs late to a 3rd or 4th string QB > then the Utah game which was very nearly a debacle of monumental proportions plus this game which was a debacle of monumental proportions. The committee will have zero inspiration to include BYU in playoff consideration with even one more loss unless they look astounding in all of the remaining games and play a very close game in the Big12 Championship and lose it there. Even then.. unless there is a late season turnaround for the offense which has been totally glitchy of late then why would the committee consider 11-2 as enough?
