For me 1990 BYU at AFA. -4° wind chill at the start of the game and it kept
getting colder. Ice, snow and frontrange wind.
The wind along the front range cut right through you. The weather was snowy and icy. Bad enough there was no fly-by to start the game.
They had a special QB parka for Detmer made that was tested at the top of Snowbird down to -40°.
By the middle of the 3rd quarter, it was just the cadets and some BYU fans. I was with my buddies freezing to death, but couldn't leave in the 4th quarter when they pulled Detmer because my parents were in the press box at a luncheon with the Superintendent of the Air Force Academy.
By the time we left, i think it was -10° wind chill in the stands. So cold.
