Don't know how someone argues that is not a hold. About the only valid argument
that I could see is that it shouldn't be called at that stage in the game, especially where the refs hadn't called it all (maybe once??) game. By throwing the flag the refs had a more direct impact on the ending of the game. Some argue in those situations, unless excessively egregious, the reg should swallow his whistle.

But on the flip side, not calling it also has a direct impact on the ending of the game and that hold is not small and completely took the WR off his route and disrupted the entire play. Even late in the game, if an infraction is committed that disrupts an entire play, especially at a key moment like 4th down, I think you have to throw the flag. As much as I don't like refs making calls that impact outcomes late in close games, letting an obvious infraction that disrupts a key play go is no better. Throw the flag, line-up and play again. Utah still had us on the ropes, and as Whitt said, they couldn't get the stop when they needed it while our defense came up with stops all 2nd half. The better team won.
