And they were dead wrong (objectively, not a biased opinion) on every issue. A timeout WAS called and recognised before play began. A critical and egregious hold WAS flagged before the play began. The great tackle that was INCORRECTLY flagged as a facemask cost BYU dearly. (I agree the call was understandable from the ref's perspective; it was a bad angle.) And Kuithe's injury was clearly not the result of a BYU player.
I totally understand disappointment. But man, act professionally; don't throw a fit. And afterwards when you can see that you are clearly wrong, man up and APOLOGISE ASAP. Utah has been a solid team, especially defensively, and owned us for what... ten years in the 2010s ? And actually played a tough game on Saturday. Sure they are having a down year and lost on Saturday. But man up and move on.
