as an analyst at Utah this off-season (and not promoted to OC).
How good of an OC was he for Northwestern? Over 4 seasons his offense averaged a whopping 19.0 points per game. I'm sure worried about that high level of production.
To be fair, he was also the OC underneath Butch Jones at Central Michigan/Cincinnati/Tennessee from 2007-2014 so he definitely has plenty of OC experience. I am just not convinced that he is a high end coordinator nor do I think that implementing a new coordinator really has a huge impact other than simply someone else calling plays since it's not like they have had an off-season to learn a new offense, etc. But then again, it's not like their offense could get any worse than what it has been.
