it was maddening, Robby and Randy were arguably some of the better talents on those teams, and Randy was holding back because of the complaints about playing for his Dad.
I felt like I was taking crazy pills because fans couldn't see past the Coach/son angst and see the Reid boys for what they were, some of the better basketball players on the team those years.
Reid was awkward in his public speaking, but he was a x & o technician, BYU hasn't run inbound plays anywhere nearly as effective in the 20 years since he left.
Ruffner was his downfall and Burgess was the final nail in the coffin.
He also wasn't the coach for most of that 1-25 season, but there was very little talent on that team, it was rough.
