According to whom? I've heard fans repeat this but never knew where it came from
Other than results, I guess, but it's all too easy for fans to speculate that things must have changed because this seems to be when things started clicking.
It's also contrary to what the OP said, that he let go of the reins mid-2020 because he knew he was leaving and wanted A-Rod to have reps.
