I preach this at work, not perfect answer, but everyone is responsible for their
own balance. Work/stress will always be there, and I can't take away your work enough for you to not be stressed if you aren't doing things that bring you joy.

I had a lady that was stressed out, breaking down at work no matter how many projects we took her off. Her 24/7 perspective was on work. I worked with her to get back to playing piano, something she loved, to add positive moments back into her life as she worked through her issues and build her own boundaries, etc.

Mine has been swimming (laps) - just a chance to decompress, move the body, etc. Or video games. Or spending time with family etc.

That said, I wouldn't tell someone who has cancer to fight it they should just go play the piano either. Getting real help from medical professionals is important in these situations.
