Beardall brothers were my bishop's sons. The older brother was kicker at the U. Younger son played lineman. Another kid played receiver for them (Richardson?). Girl on our cross country team ran for them. Seminary principal's daughter went on the play volleyball up there. Seems like there was a couple others in other sports that got U scholarships. So of course all their friends and families all became big time Ute fans. Couple other families in my ward had U flags and stuff all over their yards. It really felt like BYU fans in the school and in the neighborhood were somewhat of a minority compared to all the Ute fans.
