I am trying to think of examples. It's almost like asking what they think are
big questions rather than what you think. For example, with GAs, they probably get a lot of questions about polygamy or whatever, but like they don't wander around thinking about their great understanding of polygamy. They are probably thinking about different problems the church has today. So, I would steer towards issues like what the impact of various trends will be on the Church and steer away from the done-to-death standard history questions. You know what I mean?

Or with Elon Musk, I'd love to hear about reusable rockets, how he thinks about them, why they are hard to make, whether we may go back to disposable, etc. than about politics or Twitter.

Or I would ask Nick Saban about team culture, NIL, mentality, football specifics rather than like, "isn't it great to win the NC."

Anyway, point is, meet them in the plane they think in, not as a fan or as a standard-issue outsider, but try to see how they think about stuff.

Above all, do not be weird or transactional.
