is something I miss about the old MWC/WAC world. I don't think it will replicate itself in the Big 12 as BYU won't dominate and the LDS Church/BYU are far less insular than we were in the 1970's and 1980's.

I have enjoyed the "Welcome Back Kotter" moment with Utenation suddenly reversing course from their moving on from BYU and of course God bless the ALAF (Active LDS Aggie Fan) who is beside himself with grief as the image this portrays about his beloved faith. I expect there to be a well attended protest outside Church HQs as they beg Elder Bednar to end this travesty once and for all out of a pure motivation, and only motivation, of concern for the LDS Church's reputation.

Saying that, it is insane to spend this much money on college basketball players but I would like to thank Utefans for supporting the Jazz and UHC to make Ryan Smith, and Ryan Smith alone, able to afford buying BYU elite hoop players as well as those faithful fighting farmers whose generous contributions to the PEF and Temple Patrons Fund are affording the Church the chance to use the widow's mite to buy gawdless commie hoop players for just one season.

Brethren shall we not go forward in such a great cause?
