I do have the benefit of post 911 G.I. bill benefits, so I can essentially pay for a four-year college education for free with those benefits. That particular bill generally doesn’t cover full tuition, but a lot of schools enroll in the yellow ribbon program and will cover the difference.
In other words, if my son gets accepted into a program that I deem worthy, I can use those benefits. But I’m not going to use those benefits on out of state tuition for a state school. That’s stupid. He can stay in state and do really well and then leave for graduate school.
