He was a good recruiter when he was a position coach at Utah. Jake, who nobody else wanted may be the best QB he's brought in. That may be a positive that he saw something in Jake that others didn't. But at the same time, he saw something in Kedon that wasn't there when it came to fitting his scheme. 2022 behind Jaren was a hot mess. 2023 hot mess. 2024, looks better as it looks like we have 2 legit D1 playable QB's for the first time in since 2021.
The kid from Oregon that's committed looks like a decent get and fit for the system. I think Jake putting up decent passing numbers does benefit both the QB recruiting and the WR recruiting.
My only question that I have no idea on is how involved Fesi is in QB recruiting. Fesi seems like a really great recruiter and as passing game coord seems like he may be able to help there if he's not already deeply involved.
