Hopefully you're right. At the very least we shouldn't see the problem with
grass coming up in chunks causing players to loose there footing all night long like we saw last year.

No. They don't cover the field, but there is an elaborate drainage system.

Well it’s a specialized sand-based root zone with a perched water table.
