I’ve always been a huge fan of Jay Hill when so many people didn’t think he did anything special last year. I was a huge fan of Pope when people were railing on him before last year. I personally was able to see what they were doing and knew it would eventually translate Too good play.
Other coaches not so much… Kehlani is not a good coach, but he is a figurehead and a very good person and as long as he hires the right people he’s fine. But administratively he hung onto a few coaches way too long and it was really poor decision.
I think a Rod is a mixed bag. He didn’t do very well at Utah and he hasn’t shown to be recruiting very well at BYU and his playcalling is 50-50. His offense is not super good this year but at least it’s very opportunistic.
So to answer your question, I’m not trying to , ask anything but wonder why it’s so hard for a Rod and BYU to land bigger recruits at the quarterback position. Even Wilson’s little brother didn’t come here with rumor His brother told him not to play for Arod.
