Our group decided that next time we come to town, we'll bring a trailer and do an overnight tailgate next to them.
I don't think I got the significance of the duck call. At first I figured it must be some kind of colloquial inside joke, but maybe it was just at face value that the people near the practice field didn't want to hear a whistle anymore and thought a duck call would be less annoying, somehow?
