BYU has always over achieved, gotten more than expected from middling (obvious)
Talent. It’s exciting to imagine what our programs can do with improved recruiting success.
Of course big up J Hill, but also props to KS and all for choosing to develop what we already had rather than going back into the portal like most programs. That might be why BYU fb is surprising everyone.

I think you're overstating the recruiting disadvantage of indy. It wasn't as good as present but it was better than MWC
