I think what's more revealing is their idea to expand the playoff to 16 but
guarantee auto IDs for 4 teams from each of their conferences (so 8/16 teams at a minimum would be SEC/B10 in the new playoff).
That shows their desire to stay in the current system, but being able to dominate and control that system.
