I'd you I have far more experience on both platforms than you. As a multimedia developer I guarantee I've also run far more powerful apps. I know how both platforms perform when asked to perform huge renders with After Effects or one of the many 3D animation programs available.

Both platforms have issues. I can't stand it when Mac guys pretend that their preference is all that's goodness and light while the other is some sort of evil foisted on society by an evil conglomerate.

The Mac's I've owned have all been fine machines. The same can be said about the PC's I've owned.
