The Jets have bad leadership that listens to the wrong people and, on the rare occasions when they make the right decision, they make that decision at the wrong time. If they fired Saleh because their 40-yr-old "Maybe I'll play next year" QB wanted it, then they deserve everything that's coming.
That said, there's some poetic justice to this. ZW was on an even shorter leash than Saleh for the last couple of years. And even if ZW was ultimately not the answer, it's fitting that Saleh's exit was mismanaged in the same way that Saleh bungled the way the Jets moved on from Wilson.
