I am in Colorado so don’t have anyone I could recommend in Utah.
Not a conflict of interest for audiologist to sell hearing aids. But I would not recommend getting one from an audiologist as many of them are good with the book and diagnostic part of things but just aren’t good at the hearing aid part of things. (No time get into the what and why’s of that.)
It is always better to get a hearing aid as soon as possible for neurocognitive reasons.
92 is not too old, but depending on overall health and lucidness, the learning curve can be steeper.
First step, get a good hearing test.
Utah is tough because people are so cheap there it is hard to find someone who is focused on service and education.
