This team isn’t optimized to win it all, but it is optimized to get those guys drafted in the first round. Doesn’t mean there isn’t a scenario, albeit an a very big long-shot, where this team does make it to the Final 4, but that’s was not the primary objective when putting together this roster. But KY is in it for the long haul, and the first thing he has to prove that BYU can do that they never have is consistently put kids into the NBA. That’s his way of being able to land top HS and Transfer talent to complement the giant NIL war chest he has at his disposal.
