I got an Uber Eats request for pickup at Spanish Fork Dennys and delivering to Spanish Fork. I got $41 for the delivery and tip, which means the customer probably paid $50+ (just for tip and delivery, not including their breakfast burger). I then got a McDonald’s request for $24 delivering 2 sausage egg McMuffins and a hashbrown 2 miles away. Absolutely nuts.
I once Ubered a lady 2 blocks from the gas station to her home. She was overweight and walked over for some smokes and then got tired and couldn’t make it back. A lot of people will Uber 1-2 miles to and from work and I wonder why they don’t bike or use public transportation.
