A couple of computer rankings that were used by BCS back in the day - Massey BCS and Colley Matrix - have BYU ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively. FEI currently ranks BYU 22nd, but in their "Strength of Record" ranking puts them at #2. ESPN's FPI ranks BYU at #34, but their "Strength of Record" ranking also has BYU as #2.
