Baylor's OC saw that BYU's zone was vulnerable along the boundary and was attacking it very well.
I'm not sure why Hill stuck with zone for so long. Probably because it was working until that adjustment. Hill countered by mixing in more man, and then threw in a cover-3 nickle package at the end which resulted in the game-sealing interception.
