He is 16 (a junior), just started a few months ago so he won't be on the awesome 7 member varsity team that looks like will win nationals again. But he trusts his coach, has vastly improved his 5K time, and runs following his coach's instructions (ran 10 miles on his own Saturday morning), even when he isn't going on the cool trips with the best runners. I wish we had started him earlier, but I think he is having a better life-improvement experience than my older son did playing football.
