We are down to multiple backups on our OL, the strength of the Baylor D is up the middle Run Defense, and we have had no success up the middle all 2nd half. That is just stubbornness and too afraid to lose than trying to win the game. None of us are calling for some long aggressive play, but let’s have a little creativity to actually have a chance picking up a first down and also go away from the 1 thing Baylor wants us to do, which is run it right up the middle. I’ve seen plenty of creative short yard plays by Arod over the years that we could have gone to that were safe and actually would have had a chance to get a first.
