I've started to come around on networks/timeslots being indicative of drawing power instead of the other way around
Network executives choose which games to put when, based on the brands and their data showing which teams draw.

If you put Alabama @ Tennessee in the Hawaii slot, starting at midnight eastern, on CBSSN, yeah it would get a lot fewer viewers.

And if you put Air Force @ Wyoming on CBS at 3:30 PM eastern, they'd get a TON more viewers. It's even quite realistic that the AF/Wyoming game would get more than Alabama/Tennessee.

But that would also never ever happen because the networks would never ever do that. Complaining about the network you're on kind of misses that point. If you're a higher draw, you'll generally get the better networks and slots
