occasions. Oklahoma State last year he led a drive in the waning seconds to kick a field goal to tie the game. Then he led an overtime drive to score a touchdown. On the next overtime drive he hit Roberts for a nice 9 yard gain on first down and Roberts was stripped of the ball while fighting for additional yards.
Against SMU and KState he led scoring drives to end the half with little time on the clock. I think there have been others.
Jake may have many flaws, but being a gamer at crunch time is NOT one of them.
ADDITION: I think fans are now hyper critical of Retzlaf. Sure he misses throws sometimes. QB's miss throws sometimes. But his stats are speaking for themselves. Quit trying to look for his mistakes. Take a step back and appreciate the great job he is doing in his first season being BYU's starting QB.
