He needs to develop greater consistency and better decision making. He is not limited as a game manager due to his physical skills as much as he is limited by his inexperience and his decision making especially when he is under duress. This team's strength is the defense, not Jake's passing. I think it makes sense to lean on your strengths, even if Jake has the physical tools to make big time throws. He is at or near the top of the country in PFF big time throws, so he is delivering some big difficult passes. He is not hitting players in stride and has the propensity to turn the ball over when pressured, so certainly some learning and technical skill development is still needed to see where his ceiling truly is.
