I don't know what the answer is for the G-whatever teams. At one time I thought they could have attempted to grab the spotlight from the P-conferences by holding their own playoff and showing how easily it could be done. It would have been short lived, but for a moment they would have upstaged the power conferences.


I don't think a g-league playoff would get ratings. People know when they're watching a lesser brand of football. Try watching UTEP vs LaTech after having just finished watching pretty much any SEC conference game. It's brutal, boring, and you can tell right away the talent level isn't close to the same.
