Over $250 per hundred feet of not very flexible pipe that has to be glued every 10 or 20 feet that requires careful planning for both relatively straight runs mixed with 45 or 90 degree bends vs $100 per hundred feet of pipe that you can run in circles if you want and simply snaps together every hundred feet.


I wouldn't say your landscaper cheaped out. He just used the appropriate product for the job.
