Does anyone remember how that tie-breaker worked? We finished tied at 6-2 with
Wyoming and Fresno. We lost to Fresno and didn't play Wyoming. 4th in the conference was Utah, who we also lost to.

What happened to BYU in 1993? Started 4-0 and finished 6-6?

It was the opposite. We couldn’t keep the ball out of the endzone.

Are you serious? That offense was fantastic. They scored 56 in a loss.

Isn't that the year Ryan Hancock had to step out for knee surgery mid season?

UCLA, Notre Dame, Utah happened. Plus our defense gave up 50 pts to Fresno and Utah St for rare losses to those teams.

Our defense was atrociously bad. We scored 45 and 56 in consecutive games and lost both.

Still remember moronic fans blaming those losses on John Walsh

Why did BYU only play 11 regular season games that year?

Hawaii played in Provo. You only got a 12th game for a road game at Hawaii

Or Pigskin Classic or Sun Bowl?

We gave up 171 points in our three OOC games... a cool 57 PPG.

They still won the conference and went to the Holiday Bowl.
