by leading a touchdown drive in the next series. That interception is talked a lot more because of the quick impact it had on the game. What really hurt us was Retzlaff fumbling 4 times, losing it twice.
Interceptions happen, fumbling shouldn't ever happen. You gotta hold on to the ball. That is what lost us the game BYU 3 Turnovers Oklahoma 0 Turnovers. And we still only lost by 7.
Although, we lost as a team too. Here is the last drive for BYU vs Oklahoma.
1&10: Pass to Epps: -1 Yard loss (probably not the best play call)
2&11: Robbins 4 yard run up the middle (get some yards back to try and not make it 3rd and Long)
3&7: False start
3&12: False start
3&17: Robbins 10 yard run (surrendered that series to try and get the ball back to try again)
4&7: Punt (still had 5:08 on the clock - plenty of time for a 3 and out)
Oklahoma got 3 first downs to run out the clock.
All in all, this was a winnable game. I don't have high expectations for this Saturday, but I feel like if we take care of the ball, we will have a chance.
