I am not saying that all is lost if we lose. It’s likely that we do.

But if we win and stay healthy, it’s the kind of game that says a ton about the remainder of our season. Even if we play well in a loss, it bodes well for our ability to compete in the big 12 and achieve eligibility and beyond.

And if we look awful and have to pick up pieces, it’s not over necessarily.

That said, win this one, keep the wheels on the bus, and we are well on our way to being a very good team with a shot at an excellent year. I expect some bumps and disappointing losses regardless, but we have a chance to define ourselves as the type of team that can withstand those things and still have a great season.
