But it can be a negative for the kids, the younger set can't handle it and break
down. In CO they allow kids that are way too young to enter KG, and it's full day here. Full day KG here is much more like my first grade experience in CA many years ago.
4yo kids in first grade doesn't make a lot of sense. They either need to back it down to half-day and be more like preschool, or move the calendar cutoff date so kids are older.
