I really dislike some aspects of Unions, but the reality is Unions create stable and good wages for employees. They are a balance against corporate greed at the highest levels. Seriously who thinks upper management compensation is fair or justified? It's insane how far the imbalance has gotten.
Boeing management is responsible for the pile of poo Boeing has become. Outsourcing engineering jobs, choosing profits over safety - 737 max, poor quality control - 767 tanker issues, ineptitude - spacecraft.... the list goes on. The union isn't the problem it's management.
