Which was about 4% a year. I'm not a machinist, but I work for Boeing (board name checks out). This is probably the 4th time they have struck in my career. Prior to them voting, I gave it a 50/50 chance, however an executive decided to send an email to only the machinists, lecturing them about the contract and how this one was different then in times past, and it only served to tick them off even more.
Hopefully in 30 days we can all get back to work as a team. It's no fun driving into work passing your friends on the picket lines.
