If they wanted to do a full merger they would've alrady done that. They want to
run away from those, that's why they're willing to pay this. The sched agreement already had a path for full merger and neither side wanted it.
They will target the top of the American before they touch another MW school. They are not going to go to 12 schools for the heck of it - they're going to sit lean at 8 with no dead weight.
Adding 4 extra schools of dead weight when there's no TV slots makes no sense.
