I carry the extra half pound and use the thermarest pillow. I finally had enough
with crappy inflatable pillows and stuffing sacks full of clothes. I've lightened my tent/sleeping bag/pad enough that I take a couple luxury items now and still stay under 25lbs. The camp chair is the other thing I automatically include now. Sitting on logs and rocks was the worst
