You take it all into consideration. Hoping for something better trumps playing known bad. JR shouldn’t see a snap until
all other scholarship QB’s have a fair shot. I’d guess GB or Hildstead would be better. Almost impossible to be worse

Retzlaff has a career 7:10 TD to turnover ratio. 7:15 if you include his fumbles that BYU recovered. 4:10, 4:14 vs FBS.

GB has shown in the past that he is capable. JR has never shown anything but terrible. 0 is less than 1. Hillstead 1>0
