both back next season and healthy. Walbruch, Fryer, and Bailey at the forward spot seems pretty formidable.
but yes in the midfield it definitely seems like we are missing the technically gifted player who can spring the right pass through often. And although I hope the players improve and the game slows down, sometimes that technical aspect isn't something that just incrementally develops year to year. Kind of like in basketball, if someone can't shoot and score well by the time they are 20 years old (e.g., Lohner type of player) they probably aren't developing that skill. Its a skill to anticipate the open player and then hit the pass with the right weight.
Maybe Kessler could be that one? She seems like she might have the right idea. Vance is a great dribbler but actually is very disappointing as far as making that quality final pass. Krommenhoek seems way off from being a great passer like this.
