I'm not an overly negative poster, but a lot of CBers seem to think that complaining after a win is always unwarranted (not saying you're necessarily that way, but that your post is similar to those who seem to think that). Winning is always better than losing, but after watching the offense in the SMU game, and given Retzlaff's brief history at BYU, it's easy to see why people are concerned.
