I honestly believed that BYU could eventually become a top five maybe even top four football program in the big 12.

I thought that Basketball should dwindle in unbelief at the bottom. I did not think they would ever be able to compete with the top half of the big 12. I honestly did not. That changed….in one year …..that has completely changed.

BYU has had a great history in football and that ship could be righted and they could end up potentially being like a top six football program in the big 12. I really do believe that sometimes we get caught up in the moment either for Good or for bad…. I know I do that myself.


To be very honest, BYU basketball had no business performing the way they did last year…….Could’ve been kind of a flash in the pan.

What has happened this summer with the basketball program is different. It is a long-term change in philosophy and in the way of doing business. Kevin Young has changed the trajectory of BYU basketball forever with his coaching hires and summer recruiting and his vision for the program and his ability to execute it.

It is almost a miracle what Kevin Young has done in the last couple of months And it changes everything for BYU basketball for the next 10 to 15 years

Right now everything looks pretty doomy and gloomy for football however that could all change ….I don’t think it will be a quick abrupt change but this Ship could be righted.

I could see BYU becoming a top six football program in the big 12 eventually.

Being top nine in the big 12 in basketball is unbelievably excellent…… Equivalent to being a top 30 basketball program in the nation.

Being top six in football is not nearly as big of a deal as being top nine basketball, The big 12 in basketball, is like if Clemson Ohio State and Penn State joined the SEC then the SEC would be the football equivalent of the big 12

Top 6 in football would probably put us as a top 30 or top 40 football team in the nation….. I think it is realistic, and I would gladly take it. Occasionally, on a good year, when we have another Taysom Hill and Jamal Williams we could jump into the top 25
